Wooden drying floor

currently have 2 grain stores one has a wooden drying floor, the other has above floor laterals. the one with above floor laterals is a 65x60 shed split in 2 with a tunnel and is dried with a lister fan. attached to the back of this shed is another 65x75 shed. we're looking at knocking the back grain walling out and making one side for full length drying. how much do people think approximately that it would cost these days to put in a wooden drying floor in the back 65x75 shed just at one side? cheers

Last one I priced 2yrs ago was £8 sq/ft fitted but its very dependant on spot price of keruing timber and steel and what stocks of these are held in uk at the time. You may need to put a small plenum along the existing air duct to take the air from the above floor outlets into the floor which can add a bit in labour too.
You can still do this and retain the use of the rear wall which gives a bit more flexibility to keep crop types/varieties/moisture contents seperated. You also then have something to push against when unloading and its a bit quicker using a shorter floor too.

The intention is to have a wooden drying floor in the back 5 bays and retain the above floor laterals in the front 4 bays. Don't need separate storage bays as have another shed that is split in two already.

Surely that would cost more than a wooden one plus we already have a good concrete floor in?

Didn't fancy that idea already have the shed space and has always seemed a relatively simple system

I got a system of horizontail pipes similar to how they did the intervention stores , works as well as a floor and much cheaper and flexible ,, came from plotfeeds would recommend having a chat with them they did the fans as well

What size is that building please, and what capacity does it have?

Floors are 10x5 each, roughly 33t of wet chip per floor.
