Woodland rental wanted

Hi, I’m very keen to rent some woodland in Derbyshire or Staffordshire.

I have a very busy life and really want to spend my spare time wisely. I can’t think of anything better. I’m a lover of the British countryside and I want my own private getaway to watch the seasons change. It would be solely for myself and possibly the Mrs if she’d agree to join me. So it doesn’t have to be a big area. I wouldn’t be using the woodland to make any money. No car parks or anything needed and I don’t mind a walk.

I would be happy to take on the maintenance of the woodland. I’d be looking to build a very small cabin/shed for some respite on visits in the colder months but camping otherwise.

I have extensive insurance for the business I run and I’m also insured through BASC.

I grew up with with some woodland and fully respect and understand the requirements. I’d be a silent neighbour that takes care of the area and can give you some income for land that maybe offers you nothing.

I’m open to any discussions needed. It can be a cash up front with a bottle of whiskey deal or I can sort the particulars via a solicitor.

Is anyone interested or know anyone that might be?
