Have a few batches off ewes with a pink discolouration on their backs like the ones in the pic.Not really having any ill effect on them as such just a bit off gentle rubbing.
Ewes where treated in June with a pour on and then sheared in late August.
What's the best treatment??
Plunge dipping.injectableso..etc.??

Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

I get a dozen lambs every year with it. The fleece goes hard with lumps and you end up with half fleeced lambs you can’t sell because it looks like scab. Hibiscrub and Betamox sort them but it’s a ball ache. A foot of rain in the last 5 weeks hasn’t helped

good soak with diluted zinc sulphate in a bucket ,
will clean up alot of wool rot probs
we get a bit in full wool ewes if damp and clammy for days on end if getting good rains then fine days less of a prob
some breeds seem to have more probs wools like down types with poorer drying
with it being shorter wool have they got a "V" in there backs water can sit in leading to being damper longer thats about the only thing i can think of with shorter wool
damp warmer weather and just a fungal out break also dust sticks hays etc etc any thing getting in there backs tens to hold the dampness in longer
