Woolen jumper

Been thinking about changing the habit of a lifetime and getting the wife a Xmas present with more than 48hours to spare. She wants a Scandinavian woolly jumper. I'm sure they are great quality but I also think uk produce can be equally as good. Plus I would rather spend my money a little closer to home than subsidise Norway's huge wages.
Basically, I'm looking for recommendations of high quality woolen jumpers.

What happened to Bridgedale woolen army type jumpers. Everyone wore them when I was in my twenties.

Since visiting New Zealand I've been hooked on merino-possum knitwear. Haven't found anything else as warm, comfortable and long lasting. Price is a bit eyewatering but several UK importers.
