Anybody ever have any luck getting a warranty claim on work boots.Bought a pair of V12 workboots from a local ag supply shop at the end of august last year, one comment made by sales person was they came with a 12 month guarantee, boots are still fine but the rubber soles have cracked up on the sides, both boots in exactly the same place,i was in town the last day and thought i would ask about the warranty, the reply i was given was have i been dubbing the boots regularly to which i replied with a blank look! The leather and stitching are still fine but it is the rubber soles that are cracking up,would dubbing have stopped that or am i just being fobbed off!

Friend of mine managed a refund on a pair of CAT safety shoes via ARCO. He went along the 'not fit for purpose' route and then went directly to CAT after no luck at the local branch. They claimed he'd been using them inappropriately to which he replied 'I wear them for work, they are work shoes'. Once CAT got involved the branch did replace them though.

get on the v12 facebook page and complain
had a pair of their rigger boots once and my heal rubbed a hole in the lining and as a result when trying to take them off my heal got caught in the fabric and wouldnt come off, both pairs.
I also emailed them but they never replied.
Complained on facebook, new pair sent out the following week. But they did the same, never bought v12's again.
