Work coat

I ve got a Aldi work coat which has been brilliant warm and waterproof but it's coming to the end of its life .Any recommendations for a pilot /bomber type jacket must be warm and waterproof . Thanks .

I just use mountain warehouse walking, skiing jackets. Not expensive and does the job.

I have a “Mustaghata Volcano” jacket that I was given at lama 4 years ago when I did a deal on a Master heater. It’s been an excellent jacket, breathable, waterproof and not bulky. It’s just about getting ready for replacing and I’ve found them on Amazon, not particularly cheap at £80 but I’ll definitely be getting another.

I'd spend the extra on something that's breathable, if I had a choice.

I agree with above. Go on ebay and buy used ski jacket. There are quite a few about!

Not cheap but is tough, waterproof, warm (if anything too warm sometimes) and easy to move in as its made with extra material in the joins
