Work for self employed February - March / April around Wiltshire/ Gloucestershire; lambing?

Hi all,

I've been offered some self employed work but I think this is likely to be only three days a week or so until about April time. I was just wondering if anyone had any work that I could do on the other days of the week for these next few months, potentially carrying on too. I'm 23, strong, fit and healthy and a quick learner. I live near to Swindon so happy to consider anything within an hour or potentially a bit longer, depending on payment/hours etc.

I have some experience working with Beef cattle and sheep, I have helped with calving but not lambing yet. I also have experience driving tractors (with PTO implements/ trailers/ front loaders)/ ATVs / UTVs/ 4x4s and trailers. Have also driven a telehander before. I have also used Chainsaws/ Brush Cutters/ mowers, and done some fencing and some gamekeeping as well, along with a reasonable amount of estate maintenance. Unfortunately because of COVID I am struggling to get qualifications in these.

I realise that I am probably not as experienced as some but this means that I will work harder to learn quicker! I know that I am looking for extra work probably a bit too early as most lambing etc will be later but just wondering if anyone had any early lambing flocks that I could help with and learn, or any other work.

Any advice or leads will be very much appreciated. Happy to provide CV/ chat more / meet on farm.

Feel free to either PM or email me on [email protected]

Thanks,
Henry

Hi all, I am still looking. Unfortunately I have had the original offer pulled so I am now open to any work, full time / part time / contracted / self-employed! Let me know if I can help with anything, even if it is just temporary work!
