used to get my work trousers from aldi but they have changed in the last year and are not as good as they were,so my question is where does everyone get their trousers from? I am on the larger size and l like elesticated waist bands as it’s more comfortable to sit down all day so any ideas would be great

I’ve been using this lot lately, seem very good to deal with. I buy mainly Carharrt trousers for myself.

Bit of a convert to the Carharrt R01 bib n brace trousers now, very comfortable as no waistband. Probably won’t wear them in the summer, but have loved them over the winter.

The trousers for the man are from E strauss however we are getting disappointed with their trousers have gone all shiny like a disco and so many wide huge pockets which are born to collect enough hay to make a bale. A few years ago we had brilliant trousers from them they were mainly cotton and basic slopping pockets now they are more like motorbike trousers with reflectors, poly, multi pockets, crunchy and just wearied also their sizing is just so strange as one pair is not the same as the other. I ordered 10 pairs of different trousers and bar the basic range they all went back. I cant get my head around why they are going so off track. No one want glossy trousers with millions of sticky out pockets.

Use mine as a door stop. Must spend a fortune posting them out tbh

Larger members of TFF may wish to consider the humble tracksuit bottom from JD Sports for £5 in a range of colours

Phew, thought it was just me that wore joggers!

Got them when I'd a accident this time last year because they were loose fitting and worn them ever since.

Another vote for Carhartt's range of "duck" material workwear, I've just bought a full range of the standard work trousers, jackets and the overalls for my team. Not the cheapest to buy but they last 5-10x longer than anything else I've ever bought. I usually get through any given pair of trousers in 6 months or less but my Carhartt overalls are nearly 3yrs old and going strong.

Who do you use to supply your Carharrt gear?

I can go through 1-2 pairs of B01 trousers a year, but I am in them 7 days a week!

I have some Carharrt thermal overalls, sadly we’ve not had a winter to enjoy wearing them, they are lovely, but if it’s above freezing then they are too hot!
