Working trip to N Z

My daughter wants to go and work in NZ for 3 months,have a few contacts out there,was wondering does she need a working Visa if so how do we go about getting one?
Would one of the contacts have to sponsor her?

If she is up to mid 20's , I think she can get a working holiday visa which lasts a year. The Kiwis have a good website which explains it all if memory serves

Would be a shame to waste a 12 month working visa, on a 3 month visit. She should either go for a 3 month holiday, or go for the full 12 month working holiday. Be careful if going on a working holiday, on a holiday visa, I know of three lads who were questioned at immigration about their intentions whilst visiting. When asked whether they were over for shearing, they replied they didn't know how to shear a sheep. their story fell to bits when the immigration official checked their Facebook pages, and found a video of them speed shearing, at a local show They were swiftly returned back home !
I did oz 15 years ago, and i am still kicking myself now, that I dident do NZ.

Working holiday can be 24 months just a max of 12 months working. Real easy to do online

When I went four year ago with no visa just showed return flight ticket and bank statement showing I had money in

here is all the info from the horses mouth, working holiday you don't need to be sponsored etc, you are not supposed to take up full time employment, but it's been done before.......
I also agree with everyone above, don't waste a 23 month visa for 3 months

also the immigration folks aren't idiots, when I flew in from Oz in 2010 "on holiday" as it was short notice to do a job that a mate had hooked up, with the intention of getting visa once here, I naively filled out the immigration form honestly when it came to had I been on farms, what my occupation was etc etc

Immigration offical at the airport looked me dead in the eye and said "so you've just left australia where the harvest has just finished, you are travelling to the heart of the nz arable area to visit a friend just as our harvest is kicking off, and you are a farm worker by occupation, and you want me to believe its a holiday?" I told him it was an old uni friend i was going to see as it made sense to hop over from oz blah blah blah, hands me the passport back and says "I'll let you through this time, but don't be doing any work until you have a visa sorted, get in touch with immigration nz as soon as your able to"

I've got a similar story when I went from the Netherlands to the UK!

I did get a month in Nz, a week seeing relies in Napier,Palmerston north, and Wellington, and three weeks on the kiwi experience around the south island ! will go back one day, but hard enough getting help to look after my ladies for a week so i could go to Pembrokeshire on my hols, never mind a month to go globe trotting !!
