Workshop door - roller shutter/sectional

I'm looking to replace the door in our workshop with a roller shutter or maybe sectional door - approx 4.5m x 4.5m. I have the following questions, but would be grateful for any other advice too. Also recommendations please, if anyone knows a decent firm in the far south-west, or who to buy from online etc if we decide to fit it ourselves.

1. Is it worth considering fitting it myself to save a few(?) hundred quid? Is it a simple job, or best left to the experts and be sure its done correctly?

2. What spec does a door that size need to be to ensure no wind damage? People say "avoid the cheap thin ones" etc but what thickness/spec should I go for? (It won't face the prevailing wind.)

3. Any thoughts on a roller shutter vs a sectional door?

4. It will need to incorporate a personnel door - any advice on that please?

Thanks

Sectional are good, but you have them inside on their rails in a vulnerable place if moving stuff around in a workshop, may even prevent you using all the space?
