Workshop doors

I made a pair of dual fold doors for my workshop (so 4 leaves, about 2'6" each, making up a 10' door). Take up far less space when folded than normal folding doors meaning I can close them behind a vehicle which just fits in there. Just simple steel box frames with weld -on hinges and galv sheet riveted over them. Secured shut with a bar that swings across them from one side and drops into hooks on the back of each door. Obviously can't be opened from the outside though and I have another pedestrian entrance.

The handle broke on my new 3000 Series Strongdor last week, once I had the cordless and suitable socket I was inside the shed within a minute.

Security doors are a waste of time on a box profile building IMO.

Unless they have changed over the years
Roller doors rattle like fudge
Whatever you are thinking stand outside today and have a rethink
things have advanced slightly i suppose you could say.
i installed an insulated (ill use that term lightly) roller door on a shed about 8 mths ago, its not big at 8'x8' but it dose its best impression of a church mouse every day, even today..
ive seen bigger size and they are as quiet.
dearer than your std door tho but not a wild pile.

What are your thoughts on these? Do you know if they can stick the wind?
