Workshop lights

Currently have conventional strip lights in the roof of my workshop but it is fairly dark, can anyone recommend good lights or should I just get a couple more?

Put 4 x 50 watt LEDs high up this double barn - not good enough for doing the crossword but a damned sight better than nowt.[emoji6]

Lo-bay, lo-bay, lo-bay.

Unless your roof is very high then Hi-bay.

Do the crossword? you could do brain surgery or drill teeth with lo-bay.

They do take a bit of time to fire up, leave the strip lights in, have the switch for the lo-bays at the other end of the shed so you only turn them on when you really want to be in there.

These are only 50 watts each sold as PIR inclusive flood lamps with polycarbonate lenses at around £50 apiece - We left the 4 PIRs set for an 8 minute on time and being LED they are instant so if they use £2.50's worth of electric in a year I would be surprised [emoji6][/QUOTE]
