workshop size

we are looking at building a new workshop and wondering what size you would make the doors

Ours is 6m by 6m roller shutter will very rarely be too big no matter what size you make it

i am making to fit large kit and still have space and was thinking 3 doors 18' high by 15 wide and the shed 100' long b 55'+wide and 20' high

i want it deasent as current workshop is 4 miles from the farm at home and is only 7'6" high and 14'x16' so all the work is done outside

The only danger you will have with the size of shed you are planning is my thoughts are if it is too big it becomes a store not a workshop and all sorts of stuff lands in it and it is impossible to heat in winter but depends entirely on your usage

seeing as its so big, why not do away with a leg, make a nice big 30' bay and have two 15' sliding doors that meet in middle? have a 30' wide x 18' high door, you only need to use one door at once until you need to get something big in
