Workshop to help shape the online Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Platform

There are increasing incentives to adopt integrated pest management (IPM) practices, and as part of our IPM Decisions project, we are pleased to invite you to an online workshop on Friday 5 February (2 – 3.30pm), hosted by AHDB.

During this interactive workshop, we will be discussing two projects that are supporting the implementation of IPM for the prevention, detection and control of pests, weeds and diseases.

IPM Decisions, a European Horizon 2020 project, is developing an EU wide platform for Decision Support Systems (DSS) for farmers, advisors and researchers for a range of pests, weeds and diseases. To help us launch the first version of the platform in May 2021, we would appreciate your feedback on what we have developed so far.

Integrated Pest Management is set to be rolled out as part of Environmental Land Management (ELM) schemes, under the Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) – and a new NFU-led project will look at how this can best be achieved. During the workshop, we will be looking at benchmarking IPM using an IPM plan so you can see how you perform against your peers. You can complete your own plan ahead of the workshop on the NFU website link below.
