Wormers from the Avermectin group are the ones to be avoided.

You should have wormed before putting them out, then not worry with ewes. Maybe not have worried at all.how much should i even be worrying about worming when sheep are on fresh land with no grazing history and will move every 10 - 14 days ?

At most a drench on arrival would suffice. Clean ground, no further drench required. Unless they looked like skeletons I doubt I'd have worried too much given ridiculously low stocking rates on clean ground.Auld ewes ?
