So we normally always worm lambs at weaning. Already had to worm twice this year with a white in may then a yellow end of june. Took dung to vets and vet couldnt see gut worms this time. Although slaughter house sheet come back with 10% with lung worms. So vet says just do all smaller under 35kg lambs with noromectin 0.08% and not to use cydectin clear drench as more chance of building resistance to it. It just seems strange to me not worming them all in a high stress situation. There seems to be different thinking if lung worm bothers lambs or not.
What do others do at weaning?
I think its been a long time since they were last wormed in june....
