Worn lift ram on Manitou.

Due to lack of maintenance I have a manitou with wear in the bottom casting of the main lift ram.
Fitted new pin and bushes and filled void with chemical metal but it broke down fairly quickly.
What are my options to sort it, preferably not a new ram.

The correct firm will make and fit a new end, a good firm up here at Hillington, but a little far away for you.

Edit. Nicol and Andrew is the firm , if your ram isn't too far gone possibly it could be welded up then machined back to size.

Can get them welded also

I wasn't going to admit but yes a couple of times when ones have been not too bad i have welded them and die grind them back to roughly right. then run a hand reamer through it and got it somewhere close! takes a lot of time though messing about.
