Worried about meat suppliers

Fair enough, is it growth hormone free too?
Yes it will be hormone free, same as the US beef that comes to UK and Europe. Costco UK only sell US pork boneless loins, either in steaks or as a joint. All their other fresh pork would be British, I am pretty sure. The US pork has been good when I have tried it. They sometimes do tasting demos where you can try a sample in store.

Most fresh meat in Aldi is deffo British! They use the fact that they source as much as they can from which ever country they trade in... if that makes sense . So in french stores for example... french meat.. very good sales tactic.. remember world wide ALdi is a huge company !
Well said we had recently one of ALDI's 36day i think on label Aberdeen Angus Roasting Joints & i swear its one of the best tasting pieces of said meat ive tasted in quite some time.
Worth every penny of its £8 odd & id have no issues in buying more of that, in fact i might just do so on a trip to our local very good store next week.

Maize fed maybe adds to flavour, trying to balance carcass I guess, as pork shoulder would probably be most popular in the home market, whereas loin is over here.

Is it red tractor assuredas well😉🤣

Do you believe everything is gospel on GOOGLE like? am dam sure i dont.
Aldi shouldnt & iam pretty sure dont put union jacks & british & RT Labels on non genuine UK sourced MEAT (End of)
Well to be fair I reckon they don’t now since the horse meat thing but a mate of mine was a manager in a large cutting plant 20 years ago and if they ran out of uk they used to stick argentine in as British

Hold on.

Aldi Australia sell Australian pork:

Aldi China sell pork from Shanghai:

Aldi USA - USA and Mexico:

Google is really just an aggregator of information from elsewhere - it’s a tool to use to find stuff, and like all tools can be misused by an inexperienced workman (or woman - maybe even a clueless landlady).

it really isnt rocket science but unless Google is telling fibs there you go..

As part of Aldi's commitment to championing Great British quality, many of our products are sourced from the UK. In fact, our entire core range of fresh meat and milk is from British, Red Tractor approved farms. We are the market leader in the amount of fresh produce we sell which is British.

Most of the beef sold in the US, by Aldi or otherwise, is produced and packaged in the US. 90% of the imported beef comes from Australia, New Zealand, Canada, or Mexico. The same goes for pork. Aldi gets a number of its items from China, so it's not a stretch to wonder if they get their meat from China, too.

everyone can make there own mind up but iam 100% sure ALDI uk fresh Meat is 100% UK Sourced.

Any decent government would insist on the country of origin being shown, but after a so called "Tory" government for goodness knows how many years they still allow deception by supermarkets, guess money talks still!
With a little tinkering meat from abroad soon magically becomes British.

No, I disagree. Last I checked, Aldi were mostly UK sourced, and clearly labelled when not (as is a legal requirement). Are you just trying to cause trouble, or do you really think that they would be pulling in meat from the other side of the world whilst the pork price is on the rails?

Feel free to provide a link to your google source though - will be interesting to see. I suspect that you've somehow got yourself onto the Aldi USA site, which would use local and Mexican sources - am I right?
I buy Aldi meat, and I must say, I think the quality is really good, much better than Tesco and all at a great price too
