The whole Fffing lot of them ! Had parcels left in field , in public footpath , the old can’t find your address , the card quite clearly posted at a post box saying sorry we tried to deliver but you weren’t home , what a shower of ££&””!!!
Makes you appreciate the good old postie even more !
Same question as above, can your house easily be found from the parcel address? Road signposted, house name at gate etc.
Driving onto your property, is it obvious where to drop parcels?

Hermes as was by a country mile. We are the only property on this postcode which brings you right to the gate, with a name sign beside it, but they consistently still managed to deliver to a different address.

However DPD did excel themselves when they somehow swapped what we had sent for something else! We had sold some items to someone in Holland which we boxed up and sent off to them. Got a call from them a couple of days later asking why we had sent them a rather ‘naff’ mug instead. We hadn’t but it was correctly addressed but in the box was a delivery slip for a company in Gloucester. Contacted them and asked if they happened to know where our package had got to and that their mug had been delivered to Holland. Turned out it was a sample they were sending to China to get a manufacturing quote. Heaven knows how Interlink managed to swap the delivery labels as they said it was impossible when we contacted them.

Herpes and DeePlyDippy both excellent round here once they learned there are 5 houses with the same postcode. Now most delivery folk have a subscription house allied to postcode app we very seldom have issues with deliveries. We are pretty rural and virtually every house has a name rather than a number and since we have a few folk in professions where they would rather not have their location made public we have very few visible names by the side of the road yet we are all on pretty good terms with our regular delivery folk and Steph' our postie lass is brilliant, to the extent that if we don't pick up our mail from the bin at the top of the drive she will come down to the house just to make sure we are okay and she wrote a hand written note thanking us for her Christmas card with tip in.
Rural deliveries are not made easier by the restrictions imposed by the companies themselves. If our delivery drivers arrive early they can't log the parcel out till the allocated time slot. I've filled loads of travel mugs with coffee for the poor guys and lassies twiddling their thumbs waiting for the time to pass.

I send loads out each week with Royal Mail circa 100-125 a week. Click and Drop.... Very Little maybe 10-15 a year doesn't arrive ontime maybe 10 a year lost which I claim for.

For the price there's nothing to touch it

The postcode brings you to the door ! I think a lot of them get to the bottom of the private road and think bigger that ! It’s not smooth tarmac put it that way !
I don’t mind anyone getting lost or struggling to find address , it’s more when they have your phone number and don’t even bother to contact you for directions !!

Hermes here are spot on, 2 local lasses who I both know, if I'm not in they'll leave it I the shed or come around to the farm 200yrds away, same with the postman but unfortunately he's retiring soon so not sure what the next 1 will be like, had DPD flying about like a racing driver on good Friday in n out of farm a couple of times even into stackyard, eventually saw me filling sprayer and asked where No9 was so I just said next to No8 his reply was no it's not so I said if you slow down and look you would've seen it at the end of the road when you came ut of farm house drive, so he sped off mumbling something 🙄

Sat-nav stops 400 yards before our drive. If I'm using a new company I always add a note to the delivery or safe place directions if there is an option.
I feel that not being easily found is one of the benefits as well as one of the pitfalls of rural life. Being somewhat off the beaten track and very rarely being found by travellers or lost vehicles makes up for the rare occasion when a parcel is late.
We have lived here for 16 years and some folk less than 3/4's of a mile away have no idea where our house is. I like it that way.

Have to say that in general the assorted couriers are all very good here. As others have said those drivers must have a huge daily workload, fair play to them.

Only minor gripe is when the post office take an undelivered package all the way back to the sorting office which then makes for a 20 round trip. They used to take them to the local post office 2 miles away..

Without doubt here it's fedex , absolutely useless

Just had some knob back in the drive , then drive off , fukwits

Hermes - tried to burn my house down by shoving a parcel through a side window and it fell onto the boiler stack and burned. If I hadn’t got home randomly then the house and dog would of been history.

And they also don’t like rural drop off’s. Regularly get messages from the Hermes driver saying to meet them in a local town as they can’t find the address. Post code takes them straight there. So now I don’t order off companies who I know use Hermes.

Have to say that at this time all are fairly good, considering distance and that it is all passed to subbie's for these remote areas. Feel sorry for the drivers sometimes looking for some vague address name because a new home owner has changed House name or worse have selected wrong address when making on-line orders. Best one recently had first two letters of their surname as initials and they had selected our address. Only a mile out. Driver asked "any idea who this is for"? Luckily had a flash of inspiration, and guessed who it was meant for..

Until the Hermes driver left a couple of months ago we no real issues until, her replacement starts. Let Me explain like most farms its a rural location, but not that rural some 10 miles from the Hermes /Evri lock up . For the last 4 weeks anything sent to us using this mob has failed to appear and tracking says sorry it delayed, well when there are 6 separate consignments missing something isnt quite right, one of the missing packages is in fact a replacement for an earlier missing item. Customer services are a joke getting past the digital chat is only possible using the eventual option of accident or damage to property report , at least you get to leave your e-mail and phone number and they get back to you, then I said I suspected some form of criminality going on.
The following day 5 items are left at the gate along with the proof of delivery photo, each package had been opened and taped back up.
A couple of days later I was in the office and I saw on the cctv a car at the gate , the driver got out stood by the gate and appeared to photograph the driveway. seconds later an "we've delivered your package" email pings in it has a picture of my gate , fine so up to the gate I go, nothing there,I continue in the direction I saw the car go , a mile later I see it leaving a driveway, pull in front of it and ask the driver if I may have the long box* that is addressed to me. Words are said, strong ones, softy spoken.
No response from customer services about this.
Just an absolute shower.
*gun safe
