I don't mind when they're heifers, it's when they're second plus calves that i get bloody teasy!

Our heifers were very well trained. Anything that lifted it's foot 3 days after calving went very high up on the DNB list. Having milked old Friesians in the mid 90s which were vicious I wasn't going to put up with someone getting their arm broke on my watch.

never used Sid directly, but my father back in the day bought a stock bull that was by Sid.

Far too long in the leg, every single one did the splits at least once in their lifetime. Shame as they were tremendous milkers with cracking udders, just unable to move around on concrete without killing themselves

Very happy with the kiwi crosses from have used though one or two heifers do have quick feet for a while.

A lot less of money for what turned out to be not much of a bull.especially as we a embro program with my “best cow”

Which Leif ? .We used the German Leif by Lukas sold by the firm bought by Genus that I can,t remember the name of They were great right from calves , could do with a bull just like him again for more strength !!

Yes, that's the one. Tbh their size was most of the problem, they were just too big but had really small feet!
