Worst Restoration Ever

Ive seen a grey Fergy at a field day that was brush painted with dulex house paint over all the rust and dirt he didnt even bother to power wash it. It looked like a child had done it. "Now who would want to see that? :scratchhead:" I thought to myself..

Now I've seen some bodged up crap.
It's mainly the people who pull a better tractor to pieces because of jealousy that have shoddiest tractors,

I didn't even think you get the seat upside down on them but seeing that the armrests look more useable

I think that most are missing the point. It says refurbished not restored. For refurbished it is more than ok as all it needs is for the necessary functions to be working and not cosmetically A1.
I hope there is not a bit of snobbery creeping in here as even my main tractors barely reach that level of eye candy.

Kind of looks like my efforts.....:LOL:
TBH, the main enemy, rust, seems to have been taken care of. Would be easy enough to sort out the rest.

Just needs some stickers, if there’s no rust under the paint can’t see much of a problem - will do another 40 years. Mind you the cylinders are probably the shape of a running track and the rings as thin as paper:whistle:

There are far worse than that.

They will be a 'refurbished' tractor for sale somewhere on eBay every week, usually painted in a colour a couple of shades away from the intended... :)

Who remembers the 2wd John Deere 2650[?] that was on for YEARS - it was bloody turquoise!
