We watched it over Xmas, and my 10 year old daughter didn't like it at all, l thought it didn't have that kinda meloncolly feel about it, maybe kids in the 80s were easier pleased, nice countryside still.

I wasn’t sure about it to be honest .We watched it over Xmas, and my 10 year old daughter didn't like it at all, l thought it didn't have that kinda meloncolly feel about it, maybe kids in the 80s were easier pleased, nice countryside still.
Mckenzie crook is a good ambassador for the countryside , once worked/volunteered in conservation , and is refreshing to the normal media attitude toward us , as rich factory farmers that kill anything in sight .I was skeptical but watched it with the kids and they say politely through it all , might be good to have Worzel as a device to talk to the kidz about what that goes on in the countryside / seasons ect
I think I saw him with a TFF badge at YAMS show?Pfft.
Catweazle was better than any Gummidge
Used to scare me a bit though ..
There was a pic of an old 8' cut claas like our old one. What had they done to the field of corn that gummage was stood in on second episode
Looks like a mower was used to cut the corn!at 8 inches
