That's what I don't get.Imo all it does is alienate the very farmers they are seem to be needing to work with.
Trailers 30 year ago or more used to have stickers on saying "do not work under unpropped body" ffs so why such a surprise.
Exactly that, the high and mighty attitude and claims of legal requirements is the point. We all know working under anything unpropped is risky, but I bet everyone does it now and then.Sticker or no sticker, you wouldn't catch me working on one unpropped.
But that's not the point being addressed here - it's their attitude/principle and the way they come across as all powerful and righteous.
If the post had been "Please remember to prop your trailer before working on it" or something like that, it would have been a lot less militant.
Having a trailer prop is all well and good - but if it's stuck in the back of the workshop forgotten about just to tick a box then it does no good for anybody.
