I think there are blackmarket software hacks and switches that allow you to use the battery to power the house - can't see Tesla liking that though !

Yeah I've heard stuff about that before. You start a business, find an investor, give yourself a huge salary, drain the company of it's liquidity and then declare that you tried your best but unfortunately have to declare bankruptcy....
And then the next week start another company, rinse and repeat
And then in ten years get an award for your entrepreneurship....
