His brand has a surplus of them parked up not registered. I prefer to listen to somebody who owns a dealership and gas to sell the things.

How many miles on a charge do you get, do you get anxious about the battery going flat if you get stuck in a traffic jam, and approx how much was your EV? Don’t answer the last one if you don’t want to. And how much does a full charge cost?
The most I've EVER spent on a vehicle, new or used, was £16k.exactly - capital cost is the only downside i can see or agree with
however cost of use / ownership is probably more important when you can finance for next to nothing
you don’t have to spend 100k plus either - 30k -40k gets some decent new options today which do not look so bad vs similar new ICE cars
don’t t forget tax savings either - for a business owner or company user on salary sacrifice paying higher rate tax that 100k could be actually be less than half that price in reality …….. no brainer
Being the pedantic git I am you prob mean Sept? Also, any particular reason you've picked THAT month only?
You posted the graph btw so we can see your workings. Just saying........

Indeed, I couldn't work out why the bars and the average line didn't correspond in any way. The only way it made sense was if the left hand axis as hidden so you've clarified thanks. The %age of total sales is shown by the line, and the right vertical axis.
The bar chart on the left axis represents the actual number of BEV/PHEV sold.

I think it'll be a while before we are running one.
I see a big issue with residuals on ev cars
The biggest issue after say 5 years is how f**ked is the battery , the machines life blood

I can’t say but let’s just say north east but home is overseas.what brand ? most makes of new car on long back orders right now both ice and ev due to chip shortages
Like with anything computer related it’s worthless when your done. The batteries are not infinite and it’s a cost nobody knows about at the moment like my dealership friend who is being shafted presently. Nobody knows about used elec market yet.
Why is it a problem?
Lease it. It's more tax efficient in most cases, takes away a need for capital, fixes your costs, and lets the lease companies worry about the residuals. They're paid to do exactly that, and their business relies on them doing it accurately. They don't seem worried....

As I mentioned earlier on in the thread elec lease when I looked earlier on this year was going to cost about £14,000 more over 3 years than diesel of the same vehicle. That’s without running new charging points because we have no elec near where the cars are parked. I detailed all the figure somewhere in this thread.
All correct. That quote was the cheapest of 3 at the time. Each to their own. I do remember thinking it looked like the batteries on your calculator were knackered when I read them!

how is he (sales guy) being shafted by them (battery companies) . Is he guarneteeing range then getting fined for reduced rang?Like with anything computer related it’s worthless when your done.
