Would you train a relief milker, Truro Cornwall

Hi all,

Wondering whats the best way to learn to milk cows, I feel like some morning work as a relief milker would fit around some other commitments in my life. As well as complimenting things I want to learn and do. To explain about me, I have a REALM degree, some stock experience, harvest and a tele handler ticket.

Is it a case of knocking on doors (few big units near me) or should I look for a small farm, or just wait on indeed?

Thanks
CB

I'm in farms common (just past four lanes on the way to helston) so possibly too far? But if not feel free to send me a message! Currently milking 80-90 cows, with milking taking about 2 hours including washdown and getting the cows in - but more work available if wanted to make the journey worthwhile
Fairly modern parlour, cows are British friesans/holsteins and very well loved, tea + biscuits on hand and a lovely new radio!

Theres a decent unit just outside of Tresillian that were recently looking for milkers.

There's 2 more just up the road for 2 well known and well regarded farmers too. I dont know if they're looking but never hurts to ask.
