Has anybody used the above brand of lights? Seen them on EBay and they seem to be ok, and cheap which is a plus (y)
Thought a set of these would suit the diggers well

Haven't used these but some ebay square 48w which are a similar price and give fantastic light, I bought a set of 4 for the 360 and they literally light up the work area like a football stadium.

Personally I would go for 48w lights - unless it's the shape of these that you want.

Aye.

The brackets rusted, the black lacquer on the aluminium housing peeled off and they're not that bright a light!

Bought two pairs of the same shaped light from @UTV Products and would recommend anyone does the same.

Never mind that there's been no cosmetic deterioration, they have a proper flood light lens cover. They are also so bright in comparison that you can practically see them lighting up the yard in daylight!

Not so much worried about the shape of them, just want something that will give a good light off. Want something cheap as don't want too buy dear lights as they're only going on the diggers and they tend to get damaged in around trees (reason I was looking at these is I ripped the light off the boom when working in trees yesterday). Think I will order a few cheapos and see how they go

Cheap led lights have to be cheap for a reason - everyone commenting here knows the old saying which still stands good throughout generations.

At shows we meet many (growing number) who bought cheap on the internet and vow to never buy cheap again, generally because some of the led chips failed prematurely (caused by poor quality or overheated) or they bring varying degrees of interference to radios and CBs (No EMC).

In the farming world we are all so capable and can be guilty of overlooking the time cost involved in fitting lights twice or more. Time is and always will be money - in fact way more expensive than the lights themselves.

Now in our fourth season of specialising in led lights for agricultural vehicles we have travelled quite a journey and learned so much about our suppliers ability and commitment to quality, specifications and performance differences. A higher price always will accompany a higher performance grade of product.

More recently customers are discovering just how important is the term "LUX" - a meaningful measure of just how much light you get out front where you need it most. An led light may have hugely impressive lumen ratings but without quality/precision LED chips and lens you are never going to transmit the whole and most natural light where you need it. Once we were all so impressed with that massive amount of bleached white led light which spread everywhere lighting everything but overlooking it is without much definition in shapes and colours of what you see. Invariably it lights everywhere and would be better if more precisely focused.

Today a good quality led light will have the correct internal specification to give longevity of performance at the level you experienced when making that purchase. 50,000 hours plus life expectancy is now possible and from memory this means the light is guaranteed to perform at up to 80% of it's original capacity up to 50,000 hours. High grade led chips matched with precisely designed lens are in tandem giving a far more defined and natural light experience. Users definitely report this as bringing improved clarity and colour recognition at night whilst being far easier on the eyes. Please see two differing images attached of same tractor, same location and one with standard led and one with quality led and precision TIR lens.

Thought: If someone buys a cheaper priced light from us and say it failed they would come back to us expecting and would receive a replacement. If someone buys cheap lights from the internet they accept failings as life and simply pay out for the same again.

Above is written in some explanation on behalf of ourselves and others selling those seemingly more expensive led lights, but no way intended to offend. @FWI, @utvproducts, @hardisa

Last 4 I bought off ebay were from a german seller, so no risk of extra duty vat charges, oval,48 watts, 4 lamps for around £35, brilliant light, so they might cause the radio some interferance, put a cd in! Yes the brackets are starting to rust, heck at that price, who cares!

I did exactly the same, absolutely no point putting expensive lights on a 360, they only get knocked off and don't last long anyway - I would rather having something cheap and cheerful and it causes no pain if one gets bust.

On the tractors though I have put decent LED lights as they are not as exposed to damage as the 360

Have to agree with all of this.never had radio interferance on anything with led's fitted.occasionally you can notice a bit of flickering if that makes sense but have to look really hard to notice it

roscoe erf, thanks for reminding us. If anyone buys off ebay, and especially pays with paypal, then if a product is faulty, send the seller a message, but if they dont play ball, ebay usually,if not allways sides with the buyer, and you'll get a refund. So there is buyer protection as such.
