Wrapper hire?

We are looking to hire our neighbours mchale wrapper to wrap some of our 2nd cut silage when the weather allows us to cut. What sort of price should we be looking to pay. Maybe only 500 bales or so and we will be supplying the wrap. Never done this before so just wondered if any others have done anything similar.

You will never hear the end of it, if it gives trouble after the lend. Regardless of how much you give them

Not enough im afraid,50p/bale minimum and that is mates rates really.

Local man is quite happy to pay it! Does quite a few bales too!

Hmm £30 or £60 per hour hire costs. No wonder they say the money is in the wrapping and bales are expensive.
