Wrapping week old round round bale hay?

I made some round bale hay for my friend last week and he is worried some of the bales are sweating too much and asked me if i thought i should wrap them for him.
The grass was in perfect condition for small bale hay and the bales were made with the belt pressure turned down. I was told round bale hay should have an extra day of drying over conventional bales, but though i make a few thousand small bales each an every year i have never made round bale hay before so have not had chance to verify this.

To reiterate...the grass was in good condiotion for small bale hay, so is the answer i am looking for...

A) Too late... the damage is done and the hay will be poor?

B) Keep the faith...It is all ok and will cone out ok in the winter. We are fussing too much as it will sweat regardless?

C) Get wrapping, it will save the bales and make good quality haylage?

Help please as my friend is looking for answers i dont have the experiance with round bales to provide.

Depends how much it's sweating really, is it enough to catch fire for instance? My hay sweats every year, regardless of how long it's made for. The top of the stack will be a bit moudly and dusty, but the rest will likely be lovely sweet smelling stuff that the beasts will fight for. I wouldn't wrap it at a week old myself, but I cant see the stack to make a judgement on it. Monitor the amount of heat being generated carefully though, been another big barn fire due to hay heating recently in north Kent.

Mine is big square bales, although the rounds I used to make still sweated a bit.

if net wrapped (rain will run off) I wouldn't worry and just leave in the field where they were made. Will be good stuff in a couple of weeks I am sure. Do not wrap as it will turn to sh*t and be a complete waste of money.
