makes you realise how much it supports life. I switched back to full fat milk - it's bloody brilliant, and if you can get it unhomogenised, even better. I haven't got a local source of unpasteurised which I suspect like nectar - East Anglian understanding of a cow - a big dog like thing in a bad blackgrass field.

If you are visiting North Suffolk (Bungay) get some from Fen Farm Dairy (Jonny Crickmore) who has a vending machine

What gets me is that second vehicle should never have ended up in the hole. Severn Trent and the council should have a duty of care to prevent anyone else failing into the same hidden trap! Even a couple of cones would have helped! Had the second vehicle been a small car it could easily have rolled on its side and potentially submerged the driver. ⚰

Do you ever have any Jersey in the freezer - the Shorthorn looked grand, but just want to try some for interest. Give me a shout if you have one done.

Sorry I didn't see you but pleased you are enjoying the milk. Not done any Jersey beef yet, got a couple of pure steers from last year that will probably be ready in about another 5 years....... :banghead:
Jersey crosses look like being a bit better and they will all end up in the fridge so we will see.

Ps. They're longhorns!
