only a page back you said drive to a speed you can safely stop,Could be debris. Not necessarily the drivers fault though
Idiots would still find a way of tipping them, most are all going to fast. Alot of us learnt on small old kit that needed abit of driver skill to understand weight, speed and nursing the horsepower, young lads nowadays havent the driver "education" we had.Looking back through at all these trailers that are tipped over makes me wonder why somebody can't make a trailer with a lower centre of gravity surely this would help the situation.
As I said then, rubbish for the road tyres... super singles all the way!

Them Tyres would be overloaded ,3 axle trailer behind a tractor Gross weight over 38 tons both the tractor and trailer Tyres would be over loaded traveling at 60kph no wonder they blow off that owner and operator needs the book throw at them , put it in a truck and keep the roads saferThat was a different situation and hardly relevant to my comment about debris.
Debris could have included something coming off a lorry in the opposite direction.
OR
One blowout could have been caused by a manufacturing defect, which caused the second. A bit of tyre could have severed the yellow line, driver braked and caused the rollover. I’ve seen it before where the bang from the blowout caused the car in front to wonder what was going on and do an emergency stop.
i understand the owner was driving. he is known for bollocking drivers for not going fast enough.Them Tyres would be overloaded ,3 axle trailer behind a tractor Gross weight over 38 tons both the tractor and trailer Tyres would be over loaded traveling at 60kph no wonder they blow off that owner and operator needs the book throw at them , put it in a truck and keep the roads safer

work out the speed , air pressure , weight & you will get your answer, that would be well over 38 tons gross loaded with wheatWhat is wrong with those tyres? They are everywhere and surely able to cope with any load and speed combination??
It's a triaxle trailer behind a Fastrac. I wouldn't like to guess the gross weight if it had been full of grain? How much is a Fastrac and triaxle empty?
I have just had a Google to see if there is any anti roll over protection for agri trailers .
There seems to be not a lot of help in that department. Would a dump truck type barrel between tractor and trailer work or would the extra weight and cost make it not worth doing.
At least the tractor would be saved in normal turn over accidents. There maybe a few quid to be made in it for uk fabricators .
