Sorry to burst your bubble but the "Johnny" voice over has been about for about three years and has been used in countless videos.

LOL fair enough.
It was really just a general observation after working with quite a few folk from your part of the world, that they tend to like driving with windows open.
Nothing wrong with that, I just find it a bit odd, I always keep the windows shut.

The problem is, they have a no blame policy 🤦🏻‍♂️. So as long as the operator (and I use this term very loosely!) admits responsibility for damaging something there is no punishment or investigation as long as no one is injured that is. It’s crazy but if every time something got damaged they sacked someone they’d have no staff in a week 😂.
In fact the punishments is far greater for driving to fast on the apron (where the planes are parked) or failing a drugs and alcohol test.

Do they get drug tested after an incident like that?

We were walking along a track on near by down land once and came across a set of folded rolls on it's side. They were the type that folded vertically, a very stupid design.
Used to hate folding and unfolding the vertical one’s especially when you rarely had level ground to do it on, back wheel would often be up a foot as it started to lift the second side but generally once the middle gang hit the ground it was steady enough

Ok
Typical spokesperson for the fire brigade very correct and only talks about the facts relating to the accident
What has happened
What the response was
And the accident will be investigated by the police
He did mention that the implement touched one of the trees but didn't say it was the cause of the accident
He is not allowed to that is the job of the police.
He comes over as a very well trained press Sprecher 👍
Sorry I can't give you any juicy gossip from that clip but no doubt it will all be one face book.

@RushesToo many thanks for the kind thoughts, thankfully we are in central Germany so have avoided the worst of it although we have been having large thunder storms on and off all week
Probably the worst was this morning at 5.00 am just as I was descending the shaft for my day shift the last Look of fresh air was a scene from a disaster movie as 45 mm dropped out of the heavens in less than 15 minutes
Still where I was going was warm and dry ;)
Come up the pit this afternoon and we have no real damage.
Thoughts are with the folks on the West Side of Germany that is a real mess and the loss of life is uncomprehendable.

Evening Phil has anymore info come to light?

I myself held a reconstruction earlier today with an identical batwing all folded up. I drove nearly 18 miles over pot holes, took roundabouts at 45km/h and not even a fish tale let alone a barrel roll.
Your thoughts
Not heard anything else about it but I still think he’s been turning to fast and hit a deep rut. Could have been where the jet got suck in the mud up to its belly last year 😂.
Fortunately onlydamage is to the pto tube and guard so got away with it quite likely!
