I've never been a fan of wheels under the bed type trailers.
They always strike me as being less stable than having bigger wheels out the sides. In fact I'm sure a million posts ago on this thread there was someone's trailer that fell over because of the suction of a passing lorry!

Internal gates in the wrong place/no gates.
If cattle can move about it shifts the weight distribution and makes the whole lot very unstable - especially if they shift from the back to the front when braking.
I like how the trailer gets the blame and not the loading /driving style and the under weight pick up towing id never entertain towing with one with out some extra weight over the rear axle

We see some trailers like that over here (often wonder whether the Ifor's we see are nicked out of the UK) but don't see them moving cattle very often. That's what trucks are for

I think some of the comments have been what sort of a c0nt is the baler man. Could have easily pulled out of that bout and prevented the situation from getting as a bad as it was.
