We had a customer in with a flat tyre after hitting a pot hole, 1 of the lads broke the bead of the tyre and the wheel fell out in 2 halves 😱. He’s never seen that before in his 30 odd years as a tyre fitter. An original wheel too not an aftermarket cheapie.

Happened to me a couple of years ago...took a picture of the pothole and sent a invoice to replace the wheel to the local council..paid out in full.. and no need to pay any insurance excess

this is the roof of my neighbours LandRover.
He only bought it the week previous and thought it would be a good idea to clean and spray the underneath of it . Lifted it up with a sling round the towing hitch . . .
...but didn't lock the pallet times on the quickie loader
insurance quote of 6½k!
