A friend of family was driving one of the school busses that the tractor landed in front.
I imagine there will be a lot of parents cleaning children's bottoms tonight!!

I hope everyone involved was ok. That could have been very very nasty, multiple pile up type scenario. Would being hit from behind by a truck have been enough to throw the tractor over the barrier and snap the trailer off? The mark on the road goes from the slow lane right across to the barrier nearly?

These tractor-trailer incidents have to stop, it will end up in much tighter regulations on agricultural kit.

Number 1 in the causes of death driving a tractor is being rear ended by an HGV on a dual carriageway.

It always makes me wonder why so many on here seem to have a thing against having 2 beacons on their tractors. As far as I’m concerned, the more visible you are, the safer you are. I don’t think people realise how vulnerable they are travelling down a fast road in a slow vehicle with one flashing light that can’t often be seen as the trailer hides it!!
