If that's true then the blame lies firmly with the boss.
Do you want to tell her?
Maybe miss Pretoria , should take a look at it all , she maybe easy on the eye but not on the land or roads
This her??
Is she actually the boss or do they just use her name?

Come over and have a shot down some of the fen roads , do 50 k with a 18 ton trailer with 20 ton of maize on ,
You will only have one wheel in contact with road , its like been on a roller coaster
We go down a road with pick up and trailer out that way ,and 30 in pick up is fast enough.
Just because a tractor can do 50k doesnt mean it should be doin 50k everywhere. The time saved by keepin her lit surely would be lost when sum1 looses control and a big rescue is needed

She’s not assigned to the companies on companies house even though their called Pretoria Energy
She certainly works there, was filmed being a right foul mouthed madam when the residents of Manea complained about the speeding tractors and mud on the road a few years back.

Yeah if she's responsible for that shambles and runs a team full of idiots I'll tell her that she's incompetent.
Does she get a free pass because she's a woman?

I understand this AD stuff only stacks up because of subsidies?

If you're running a business that relies on them and is in the public eye, with equipment everywhere causing problems and screwing the road up, you'd think they'd have the brains to be a bit more under the radar.

Remember this guy coming on the forum and complaining? He took some stick off a fair few members. It does seem though that he had a serious point to make.
That is how we are seen by others.
Perhaps he should let Ms Pretoria know what he thinks? @Long termCountry Resident

We have been asked in the past to take are contracting gang to join in with the rest for Pretoria. I'm so glad we never have. We hope we are seen to be respectful to everyone ( road users, farmers and local residents) the last two years has been an absolute nightmare for mud, we stick signs up on the road and I slow traffic to allow tractors out onto roads where visibility is poor. We have a loader with bucket brush cleaning the roads and I personally get out there with a shovel and broom. If it gets too bad we stop. The lights, mirrors and windows are cleaned every morning on tractors and trailers. The lads are well fed and if looking tired are stopped. The lads are told it's not a race and if caught being stupid they are off. At the end of the day reputation, realiabilty and safety are key. Sheets went onto clamps last night, no rolled trailers, no mishaps, no complaints from anyone, it can be done!!!

A seasonal note of warning to those putting mud on the roads...

So the police knew the road was dangerous 3 hours before his fatal crash. WTF didn't they get in touch with the farmer, or get a sweeper out and charge him for it?

I think a few of the parties hoped that the rain would do the work for them. There was little information about how fast the deceased was travelling at the time, not that I'm attempting to deflect any blame or remove any of the tragedy of the situation.
