Our idiot postman decided to deliver the mail off road this morning. Claims while driving down the track, the sun got in his eyes, when it was actually almost behind him!.
Then decides to head down the bottom of the field, in case there was a gateway back onto the road, which there wasn’t!

Not too much harm done.
But when will they teach such people that when they start to get stuck, to stop and get help, before making things much worse for not only themselves, but the rescuers and the owners of the land and their crops!

Must be the day for it, had to go and tow the milk tanker up the hill . Someone has left mud all over the road and he couldn't get traction at all.
Arla tanker going other way took heed of our drivers warning as not safe to go down loaded and turned around!

This is the video of it. Just seen it on fb. How the dude in red shirt walks away lord only knows
Heard of chap who had to have a metal plate in his skull after a wheelbarrow tyre and rim went off while blowing it up, also know a scrapman that was cutting up a gas bottle when it blew up, opened his chest up like a gutted fish but he survived, just!

At least he made an effort! Half our post yesterday had "Access denied on Tues" scrawled across it. After a bit of head scratching we remembered that a neighbour had been trimming his road hedge on Tuesday-postie must have seen the trimmer and decided to gives us a miss!
