Writing “White rural” on the census

I had reason to call 111 today,
They asked if I was still white English.

I shouldn't laugh without knowing that you're OK, but WTF? Did they think you'd gone in for a respray in a new hue?

I suppose it works for gender..

The reason I rang 111 was because our doctors now you have to book an appointment online. In order to book an online appointment you need to have registered.
Your application for an online account can take up to 48 hrs to be returned the you need to send proof of identity, the online appointment can take up to 48 hrs to be made for you and then depending on when your parttime doctor is working you might see them the following week.
So I just rang 111 which isn't the emergency services BTW is like halfway between Dr and ambulance.

Well it seems in order to prevent confusion over my skin tone, oneiof the don'ts while taking the prescribed medicine is do not use a sunbed!
