Hello i have been using the wydale 110 litre mixer for a while now and when I mix 110 litres it seems that the last 20 litres is alot stronger than the first 20 and gives the last bunch of calves the scours. Also there is abit of sediment from the powder too at the bottom. I put in half the required water in at 42 degrees then the milk powder while mixing then turn it off to add the remaining water then mix for 4 minutes before feeding to the calves any suggestions or help much appreciated many thanks

I would say it’s the powder. Some do reseperate like that. Sounds a bit daft but if not could you be over mixing it? Mixing it once then again for four minutes is a lot more than I do with the same mixer. The wydale is a very aggressive mixer with that length of plastic as a paddle. I’ve thought myself in the past if left on you could soon have butter!
