Situation Vacant Wynnstay Store Assistant - Full time, based in Newport

The Newport branch is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and hardworking Store Assistant to join our team. 32 Hours per week, (you will be required to work 3 Saturday mornings per month).

Your main responsibilities as a Store Assistant will include:

Being a motivated and hardworking individual seeking a career in agriculture

  • Working in a retail sales environment
  • Being able to utilise specialist agricultural knowledge
  • Identifying and maximising sales opportunities through high levels of customer service and knowledge of the products
The successful candidate will:

  • Preferably have an agricultural background
  • Be commercially aware, ambitious, and committed to seeking out opportunities to grow our business
  • An SQP qualification is desirable although we will look to provide training for the right candidate
  • Be an efficient accurate worker, with a positive hands-on attitude, taking on a wide range of tasks and challenges
  • Be able to cope with a physically demanding role involving a substantial amount of manual handling
