Xpress bounce.

Unfortunately it’s no singe reason.
As mentioned disc angle and depth...

Also how the ground is presented to the packer will influence machine behaviour

Hence you will find straight dirt with no stubbles will run smoother.

Another factor is weight at rear
As once we started towing a roller behind x press it settled machine down more.

If your discs are worn 50% I would look at changing them. If the penetrating portion of the disc can’t cut in it’ll cause a lot of resistance on the rubber mounts which could be making it bounce at higher speeds. At least if you do change them it eradicates that as a potential contributing factor.

I’d agree with the depth wheel at the front to.can let all the weight on the discs too.has any one experienced trailed short discs going foreward in a walking fashion,ie one side goes foreward then the other side.have had this too in hard conditions

I follow the advice of the guy who was "commercial director" at Great Plains France when we bought the Xpress in 2014. He said we have to put the cultivator a litllebit on the rear.
Yesterday I could use it (rain the last weekend) and I change the setting, I put the cultivator on the front and it didn't bounce... I hope it will be a solution... But if I put one little wedge (blue) on the jack to work shallower, it bounces (because the balanced between front and rear isn't good)
