Has anyone bought any of the free standing y shaped concrete walls recently and have a rough idea of cost. I've got to do some sums for my landlord on different shed scenarios and thought I'd ask you good folk instead of being a tyre kicker on the 'quote me forum'.

Word of warning, check the quoted weights of the units from different manufacturers. You can get some cheap ones that don't weigh very much so move when loaded. As with everything, the more you pay the more you get. Best bet to ring up the manufactures for up to date prices, they all do their own variations.

Our free standers are designed so that the weight of the material presses onto the foot , they are also very heavy ( approx 3t for a 3m tall unit ) . They can be surcharge loaded from one side only without needing to be bolted down , I can give references of farmers who have done this. Machinery impact can of course move them out of line.
The reinforcement is prestressed the same as our panels .
Each one covers 1.2m .

The Lego blocks are able to retain to full height easily , they are the strongest of all the mobile walls , they do work out a little more expensive though . Dimensions are 1.6m x.8m x.8m the weight is about 2.35t each .
