My quad will sometimes not start pressing starter button does nothing but if gear selector is moved between forward and reverse a few times it normally starts then what could be problem

It’s probably either the gear linkage is out of adjustment and not showing neutral or a faulty neutral sensor

Old thread but the same issue. Have a 550fi with similar problems. Brake lever doesn’t bypass the neutral switch but I guess if the switch is duff then the bypass doesn’t work.

seems to be two sensors, a plunger type one (cheap) and one that appears to have contacts on the outside (not so cheap). Would I need to replace both?
