TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT AND PARKING INFORMATION

We have once again put in place a number of measures to help improve traffic management to and from the Show. Please note that all parking including the Park & Ride is FREE.

DOWNLOAD THE PARKING MAP HERE
• The Show officially opens at 8.30am but on-site car parks will be open for visitors from 7.30am, as will the main cafeteria for an early breakfast.

• There are now over 2,800 parking spaces on-site, managed by our parking team, Community TM Ltd.

• For those arriving from the West on the A64 (and anyone else who wants to) there will be signs on the roundabout to the Grimston Bar Park & Ride. It is all tarmac and only a mile from the show-ground with First York running a continuous shuttle bus service from 8.30am to 5pm, dropping off and picking up right outside the show-field entrance. Easy exit through traffic lights back to the A64 roundabout.

• In the event of on-site parking being full there is an overflow Park & Ride half a mile further along Murton Lane and a shuttle bus service will run through to 5pm.

• The recommended route to exit the site, which is quick and easy and avoids the traffic build up at the T-junction to the A166, is to turn left, left and left following our show day signs which take you to the other side of the A64 roundabout which is managed by traffic lights.

I never buy food at these events errmm.but I made an exception yeserday. bought a bacon buttie with a cheese slice from the food caravan down beside the car park fields, asked for well done bacon and that is exactly what I was given(y) can`t stand the half cooked stuff generally served at these events.
