A message for Westwood, I live in Cornwall and my 2015 Land Rover Discovery commercial (78,000) just broke down and was relayed by the RAC to Land Rover and Yes, its the crank shaft, Land Rover (Cornwall) said that they will build a case, although the vehicles warranty expired August 2019 - it hasn't got full LR servicing and just wondered if you have any pointers on trying to get the max contribution or complete cost being covered by LR!! Obviously LR have a problem with this engine and won't own up.
My car is now sitting at Land Rover and I'm not sure what they even charge for a engine replacement.
I really would appreciate a little feed back.
Any suggestions will really help

funny age to sell dairy young stock, and nearly totally down to who wants them, we have bought them for a couple hundred, and seen them sold for 6 hundred or more, just weaned calves, always sell well, often making more than the, 9-12month cattle. If you can keep them, till the autumn, you stand a better chance of a good price

They'd be more like £500 in west Wales, as others have said it's a tricky age, there's a big jump up once they're in calf.

we kept 12 'smaller, and the later' hfrs back, 2 obviously have some beef about them, so they are off to mkt, look small on their own, but not against the other bullers, bull went in Friday, 6 served, and they wouldn't have made much at mkt.

In that case I’d certainly take a chance on buying them and putting the bull in, with a bit of luck they’d be calved by 30 months or soon after, I’d be happy enough with that.

To sell presumably? Lots of people buy heifers that are due to calve at >30 months. Not sure why though … I suppose they haven't had the cost of rearing them but would have the cost of them not getting in calf again because of internal fat so I guess it works if you cull them after L1 and have an extended lactation (flying herd style).

So people keep telling me.
They seem to change their pickups far more regularly though, usually because of some issue or other.
Very little trouble with my Land Rover in 16 years, I’d be very surprised if a pickup had stood up to the use.
