Have you applied any fungicides yet?

Reports of yellow rust in Gleam and Graham around here but I haven't had any & my T0 had teb in it (1.5 Timpani teb + CTL bought nearly a year ago needs using up)

T1 will be Proline + CTL so I will have to keep an eye out for any more rust coming in. Growing Siskin with a 9 rating for YR, Gleam 7 and Graham 8 - hardly high risk & the juvenile rust seen earlier should not be an issue now.

Had to treat both Kerrin and Gleam middle of last week for yellow rust. Not used to treating for yellow rust after growing Lili and Siskin for last few years.

In with some teb, can see patches on neighbouring farms showing well too.

I have to problem my wheat. İt’s to dry. Anyone have to information.

Is it insect damage. It’s been a long while since I've seen opomyza damage where you can pull the growing centre out as the grub had eaten threw it. There would be a small hole near the base if it is this. Also split plant and look for the grub. It looks a little diseased but that may have come in after the death of the centre leaf.

Interesting to hear.

Agronomist proposed similar here for T1 - CTL plus either teb or proline, or on higher potential crops a CTL/Proline/Strob option. Three price options depending on risk, conditions, and length of protection. Some later sown crops may only have a couple of weeks or so between T1 and T2.

Ditto.

I'm always interested and fascinated but what others are doing or being prescribed. Thought that most were now using sdhi's at T1 as matter of course and the likes of me still using azoles and strobes were the minority.

Ps. Any thoughts on using epoxi. I'm planning to use it at T1 but Im wonder if teb would be better as epoxi always tips and with it being dry it will exaggerate it even more.

0.55 Proline + 1 CTL for T1 here. Teb at T0 and a strong dose of prothio has some effect on yellow rust though none showing at the moment. If disease pressure was higher I normally do a mix of Tracker and Adexar at T1. I have to get rid of some CTL so a leaf 2 spray is possible depending on the calendar. Not ideal but I do need to stay the right side of the law & I have teb in stock for T3 bought before a price rise so I have options.

Only skyfall here got a little, its been sprayed now so fingers X we got it. all other wheats unaffected. Only put first Weed spray on etc on any wheats 10days ago & it will only get two more sprays hopefully this year & thats ya lot. It all had 5 sprays last year. had a quiet word with Agronomist ease back or else.

Epoxi would be the choice azole for T1. I believe teb is more rapidly taken up/mobile so more likely to tip. Surprised you see it with epoxi.
