A tractor drove over the side of a car which contained four passengers in a collision that occured yesterday in Yorkshire (Sunday, August 11).
North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service said crews from Danby and Stokesley responded to the two vehicle road traffic collision involving a tractor and car.
The tractor had driven over the side of the car which contained four passengers.
The incident, which occured near Danby, was left in the hands of ambulance staff who had taken the driver of the tractor to hospital for treatment.
All other casualties were assessed at a public house nearby whilst crews made the vehicles safe using stabilisation equipment.
Seperately, crews from Richmond, Reeth, Colburn and Bedale responded to reports of a fire on moorland last night around 11:00p.m.
Crews located two seats of fire, each measuring approx 20 x 10 metres in size.
Water shuttle set up and crews extinguished using hose reel jets, beaters and knapsack sprayers.
At around 2:00p.m yesterday in Catterick, a crew from Richmond responded to a report of a fire seen in the open.
The fire, consisting of 15m x 15m of grass had been extinguished prior to the fire crews arrival. Crews carried out an inspection only.
Then, shortly afterwards at 2:28p.m in Stokesley, a crew from Northallerton responded to a report of a fire seen in the open.
Crews extinguished the fire consisting of garden waste and dampened down the surrounding area.
