@S J H All the vehicles here have 2 small towels in and a few bottles of hand sanitizer, if the backs of the hands get wet dry them straight away. It’s the wind and constant wet/dry that messes the backs of my hands up usually, last 2 years been fine though since drying hands as much as I can

No sheep here but calving.

When you haven't actually slept in your bed for 3 nights.

When the red lorry(knackery) is in the top 3 of your dialled numbers every day.
When said knackery answer the phone and you don't have to tell them who you are or your account no because they recognise your voice.
When you realise that you haven't actually left the farm for more than a month.
When the pickup won't reverse because you have tried to use the indicator stalk as a shuttle lever because you are knackered.

When you realise your suffering from " lambnesia" 😂 going to the A&E shed and you can't remember why you're there or what you were going to do. Seeing things - syringes, drugs, doses, crooks, etc you left places on your way to "do something" and you can't remember sitting it there. Like all of 30 minutes ago 🙄

And you spend a minute staring at a ewes back because you've forgotten how to write 62.

You have 3 volume settings:
1. Muttering.
Example - fuxs sake
Most phrases start with a long sigh. You are too tired to make words. This setting is used for when children and visitors are in ear shot.

2.Cuss level 8.
Example - Funking Sheeep
This is your default setting. Swear words feature in most sentances and can be fitted in between each word.

3.Cuss level 11.
Example - RRRRRAAAAA STAND STILL YOOOO FLUFFFINGGG BIIITTCCHH!!!
This setting is loud and can come on suddenly at the slightest inconvenience. Sentances often start with a roar and end with storming off and items such as a bucket being thrown in rage. Onlookers comments of 'calm down' or 'let me do it' do not go down well.

I was on number 3 an hour ago. Had to lamb a cheviot ewe at dark last night, so brought her andthe 2 lambs in. All happy this morning so took her and the lanbs out to field. She promptly jumps out of trailer and away up hill without lambs, get round her and drive her back. She stays fir5 mins , I go into next field. Look over fence and she taking off up hill with 1 lamb. 🤬🤬🤬
Now back in shed doing a bit more bonding and proudly wearing a cull tag
