Just watched his latest offering and quite honestly why hasn't this chap got to being the mouthpiece for uk farmers , couldn't agree more with his sentiments, the NFWho need to take a leaf out of his book and start rattling some cages
I’m afraid the NFU don’t need to do anything to help farmers, they actively work against us..!
You couldn’t make it up could you ...:banghead:

I just sat my wife down to watch that episode, I had watched it the other day. We farm about the same acreage as Harry and my wife keeps on at me to give up the stock and retire to being an arable farmer.

She has stopped that now, Harry explained things much better than I have apparently.
Sat down and did just the same with my other half after watching it myself the other night

It's brilliant. Very refreshing to see the section about money with actual figures. I do think his claims of being carbon negative need some evidence behind them. A lot of big machinery burning diesel and fertiliser is being used to grow crops, not entirely sure the carbon extracted by the wheat will cover it.

It's good to see the honesty in being so open with his figures, I expect because he is a successful businessman from other interests, he's not embarrassed by being so open about his farms figures good or bad, where your average uk farmer you really wouldn't get the true picture
