This needs to be reported in the press, just to show up the utter stupidity of the holidaying couple and the police...

Times or Telegraph.
The BBC is too full of arseholes to 'report' it without blaming the livestock farmer for global warming.
Don’t worry they will be holidaying abroad next year like most others🙄

Police can only arrest if there's a necessity for doing so. If the person refuses to coooperate voluntarily, then an arrest may become necessary. However, I believe there would have to be "reasonable grounds" to suspect that an offence has taken place. Would a reasonable person believe that animals mating outdoors was an offence? If not, then it might be an unlawful arrest. The threat of an unlawful arrest complaint would hopefully focus a few minds.

That being said, I'm not a lawyer, so the advice I've given is worth what you paid for it.

Edit: It's also worth noting that the complainant may have omitted that they were talking about cows, or that that bit was lost in communication. If a police officer was told, "a couple have complained about sex in front of young children" then it all seems rather more believable.

I'd actually relish the opportunity to submit a statement to the cops about such a matter.

Firstly Daisy has always been bi curious, and Flo with her awesome eyelashes was always such an attractive Cow.

When Daisy appeared, now that's when the fun started..........

If the cows Lbgtq+ Tendencies are mentioned to the police they won’t do anything incase there’s grounds for a discrimination complaint.

Even raise your voice and they can bring out the breach of the peace card to cover over being had for wrongful arrest

My mate runs a beef and sheep farm. One of his neighbours has glamping pods which border my friends farm. Yesterday morning he gets a very irate couple in his yard going mad that his cows have been having s*x in front of their children. Apparently they’d gone mad at the glamping pod site owner who explained the animals weren’t his. They demanded to know who’s they were, so turned up. My friend basically just laughed and asked them to leave. Next thing he knows the police are in his yard regarding an animal indecent exposure and sexual matter!! I kid you not, he’s now got to give a statement about his cows today at his local station. Apparently he’s been invited in voluntarily but if he doesn’t attend he could be arrested.
🤣🤣
I even see that the OP is called @mountfarm

Doesn’t surprise me with the coppers most ones I’ve met haven’t any common sense, if anything they should charge them for wasting police time anyway they probably looked it up & the nearest thing that fits would probably be indecent exposure or carrying out sex acts in public!!!..better not tell them how milk is made it’ll put them off for life😂

All the more reason not to give them any additional ammunition. If need be, film the arrest. All the other Facebook/Youtube "victims of police brutality" do it.

Quite honestly, I can't see this ever making it as far as the cells. Even if they persist with the arrest, the custody sergeant has to be more cautious about authorising detention and I reckon they'd wet themselves laughing when they heard the grounds for arrest.

The problem here is the holiday twit couple were pis#sed off because they had to explain the birds and the bees to there stuck up kids and didn,t know how to do it, this would be comedy gold if some one could of get it recorded. 👨‍❤️‍💋‍👨
Why do parents try and hide this stuff which is fundamental to continued human existence? It’s no wonder that reproduction has been so sordidly over sexualised. What would they rather? Explain the birds and bees in a natural setting or let their kids work it out for themselves on some dodgy porn site.

There should be laws against some people reproducing
